Performance Responsibilities:

  • Teach dance to students in the auditioned PAVE I Dance program at New Rochelle High School
  • Develop and implement a dynamic, student-centered curriculum that fosters a love of dance and the arts while building empathy, creativity, and analytical skills.
  • Plan daily lessons that promote high levels of student engagement.
  • Assess and evaluate student performance, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Direct student performances and collaborate with colleagues on productions as needed.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with administrators, colleagues, and parents.
  • Actively participate in professional development opportunities.
  • Attend faculty and department meetings, field trips, special activities, and related duties.
