Successful candidate must have NYS Teacher Certification.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivery of Specially Designed Instruction as aligned with grade level content.
  • Conducting individualized criterion-referenced inventories of behavior repertoires (assessments) for all students on an annual basis.
  • Provide individualized instruction to all students with a minimum per student and measures, graphs, and analyzes all student’s progress on all IEP objectives daily.
  • Analyzes student progress on a daily or moment to moment basis and working closely with Behavior Analyst Supervisors to design phase and change and note objectives for each student.
  • Work with Behavior Analyst on the development of curricula and behavior procedures to be followed in the class
  • Carrying out and maintaining all instructional aspects of a student’s IEP.
  • Completing progress reports and Annual Review reports for the IEPs.
  • Delivering classroom instructional programs and adjusting based on the needs of the students.
  • Maintaining a classroom environment that is conducive to instruction.

Successful candidates must have NYS Teacher Certification and experience working with children with Autism and related disabilities. Bi-lingual applicants are encouraged to apply. 

Responsibilities include:

Delivery of Specially Designed Instruction as aligned with district-wide Life Skills Curriculum.

Application of the principles of ABA across all domains, including academic, communication, social and behavioral. 

Conducting individualized criterion-referenced inventories of behavior repertoires (assessments) for all students on an annual basis.

Provide individualized instruction to all students with a minimum per student and measures, graphs, and analyzes all student's progress on all IEP objectives daily.

Analyzes student progress on a daily or moment to moment basis and working closely with Behavior Intervention Specialist to design phase and change and note objectives for each student.

Work with Behavior Intervention Specialist on the development of curricula and behavior procedures to be followed in the class

The City School District of New Rochelle is seeking a dual certified Students with Disabilities/Science 7-12 Teacher pending approval of the 2024-2025 School Budget.

Responsibilities include:

Design lessons, delivers high quality instruction, assesses student work, maintains a record of student achievement, corresponds with parents, and effectively communicates with students.

  • Utilize curricula that reflect the diverse education, cultural and linguistic backgrounds of the students served, as well as the NYSED curriculum requirements.
  • Prepare for and participate in student CSE meetings to discuss students progress and aide in the identification of plans to address student support needs, programming and support services.
