Performance Responsibilities:

• Teach dance to students in the auditioned PAVE I Dance program at New Rochelle High School
• Develop and implement a dynamic, student-centered curriculum that fosters a love of dance and the arts while building empathy, creativity, and analytical skills.
• Plan daily lessons that promote high levels of student engagement.
• Assess and evaluate student performance, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Direct student performances and collaborate with colleagues on productions as needed.

The City School District of New Rochelle is seeking a dual-certified secondary, Special Education Generalist 7-12 teacher probationary position for the Year. Appropriate 7-12 NYS certification in BOTH Students with Disabilities AND Math are required.

Responsibilities include:  

Plan lessons, deliver high quality instruction based on Math next generation standards, grade student work, maintain a record of grades, correspond with parents, and effectively communicate with students.

• Collaboration and planning is required.
