The City School District of New Rochelle is seeking an Elementary Special Education Teacher for our 12:1:2 ABA program. The successful candidate must have NYS Special Education Teacher Certification and experience working with children with Autism and related disabilities. Bi-lingual applicants are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include: 

Application of the principles of ABA across all domains, including academic, communication, social and behavioral.

Provide individualized instruction to all students with a minimum per student and measures, graphs, and analyzes all student's progress on all IEP objectives daily. 

Analyze student progress on a daily or moment to moment basis. 

Work closely with Behavior Intervention Specialists to design, phase, change, and note objectives for each student.

Carry out and maintain all instructional aspects of a student’s IEP. 

Complete progress reports and Annual Review reports for the IEPs. 

Deliver classroom instructional programs and maintain a classroom environment conducive to instruction.

NYS Certification is required at time of application.
