The City School District of New Rochelle is seeking a highly qualified candidate for full-time leave replacement for an elementary school English as a New Language Teacher. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. A Master’s degree in TESOL or English NYS certification in TESOL, English to Speakers of Other Languages.

 

The responsibilities include:

 

• Provide academic instruction for English Language learners Differentiate curriculum and instruction to meet the needs of each student.
• Use student performance data derived from teacher-created and standardized assessments to drive instructional decisions.
• Design and implement high-quality individualized plans that effectively address student strengths and needs with clear learning goals and performance criteria.
• Prepare students for the WIDA.

Job Qualifications

NYS Certification is required at time of application
