New Rochelle High School is seeking a highly qualified candidate for an anticipated Teaching Assistant position. The successful candidate will perform a wide range of tasks including:

 

• Engage with colleagues during staff training and learning opportunities
• Provide behavioral interventions as determined by BIPs
• Collect and input data collection for BIPs
• Support whole group, small group, and 1:1 instruction
• Work as a contributing member of a team
• Utilize appropriate behavior management techniques
• Perform all responsibilities in a manner that guarantees the safety of our students
• Assist in the arrival and dismissal of students
• Support the delivery of instruction using district-wide curriculum
• The position may include working with students in the Therapeutic Intervention program and/or our special class programs.

Job Qualifications

NYS Certification is required at time of application
