The City School District of New Rochelle is seeking an Elementary Special Education Teacher for our 8: 1 :2 ABA program. The successful candidate must have NYS Special Education Teacher Certification and experience working with children with Autism and related disabilities. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include:

• Application of the principles of ABA across all domains, including academic, communication, social and behavioral.
• Provide individualized instruction to all students with a minimum per student and measures, graphs, and analyzes all students' progress on all IEP objectives daily.
• Analyze student progress on a daily or moment-to-moment basis.
• Work closely with Behavior Intervention Specialists to design, phase, change, and note objectives for each student.
• Carry out and maintain all instructional aspects of a student's IEP.
• Complete progress reports and Annual Review reports for the IEPs.
• Deliver classroom instructional programs and maintain a classroom environment conducive to instruction.

Job Qualifications

NYS Certification is required at time of application.
