Teaching Assistant needed for 8:1:2 program at Jefferson Elementary School. The City School District of New Rochelle is seeking a highly qualified candidate for a Level I Teaching Assistant Special Education position.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

• Engage with colleagues during staff training and learning opportunities
• Provide behavioral interventions as determined by BIP
• Collect and input data collection for BIPs.
• Support whole group, a small group, and 1:1 instruction
• Work as a contributing member of a team
• Utilize appropriate behavior management techniques
• Perform all responsibilities in a manner that guarantees the safety of our students
• Assist in the arrival and dismissal of students
• Support the delivery of instruction using district-wide curriculum

Job Qualifications

NYS Certification is required at time of application
