The City School District of New Rochelle seeks a knowledgeable and dedicated High School Mathematics Leave Replacement Teacher for the upcoming school year. The successful candidate will build positive relationships with students, foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment, and address student behavior using restorative practices.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

• Planning and delivering Algebra I and Geometry instruction aligned to the NYS Next Generation Learning Standards
• Collaborating and co-planning with co-teachers and mathematics department colleagues
• Differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Integrating technology to enhance learning, implementing rigorous instructional practices including Webb's Depth of Knowledge
• Using formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress

 

Job Qualifications

NYS Certification is required at time of application
