The City School District of New Rochelle is seeking an Elementary Special Education Teacher for a ICT/Special Class. Successful candidates must have NYS Special Education Certification K-6.

 Responsibilities include:

 Delivery of Specially Designed Instruction as aligned with grade level content.

• Provide individualized instruction to all students with a minimum per student and measures, graphs, and analyzes all student's progress on all IEP objectives daily.
• Work with Behavior Analyst on the development of curricula and behavior procedures to be followed in the class.
• Carrying out and maintaining all instructional aspects of a student’s IEP.
• Completing progress reports and Annual Review reports for the IEPs.
• Delivering classroom instructional programs and adjusting based on the needs of the students.
• Maintaining a classroom environment that is conducive to instruction.

Job Qualifications

NYS Certification is required at time of application.
