The City School District of New Rochelle is seeking an Elementary Special Education Teacher for Integrated Co-Teaching. Successful candidates must have NYS Teacher Certification.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

• Delivery of Specially Designed Instruction as aligned with grade level content.
• Conducting individualized criterion-referenced inventories of behavior repertoires (assessments) for all students on an annual basis.
• Provide individualized instruction to all students with a minimum per student and measures, graphs, and analyzes all students’ progress on all IEP objectives daily.
• Analyzes student progress on a daily or moment to moment basis and works closely with Behavior Analyst Supervisors to design phase and change and note objectives for each student.
• Work with Behavior Analyst on the development of curricula and behavior procedures to be followed in the class.
• Carrying out and maintaining all instructional aspects of a student’s IEP.
• Completing progress reports and Annual Review reports for the IEPs.
• Delivering classroom instructional programs and adjusting based on the needs of the students.
• Maintaining a classroom environment that is conducive to instruction.
