The City School District of New Rochelle has anticipated openings for highly skilled and knowledgeable primary and early elementary school teachers to join a devoted faculty that values community schooling, workshop instruction, and extended learning opportunities for kids pending approval of the 2024-2025 School Budget.
We seek experienced teachers who can manage and integrate vibrant reading and writing workshops supported by essential balanced literacy components. We also value teachers who possess an understanding of how to nurture and work with young mathematicians as they develop increasingly efficient ways to operate on numbers in a variety of ways. Our school is grounded in routines of looking at student work in a continuous approach to learning from and adapting instruction to students.
